MMIT IEEE Student Branch, in collaboration with JCTS IEEE Pune Section, presents "PRAXIS"—a global, hands-on workshop series. The inaugural session on March 27, 2026, features tracks on Ethical Hacking, the Dark Web, and Generative AI. Attendees will benefit from peer-to-peer networking, certificates, and the chance for three select participants to win trophies for presenting their work.
The MMIT IEEE Student Branch is launching a monthly workshop series called "PRAXIS." This program allows expert students to teach others about global tech trends. For the first session on March 27, 2026, We are looking for student speakers to lead hands-on demonstrations in Ethical Hacking and Generative AI. To apply as a speaker, you must be an IEEE student with a TEMS membership.
On November 22nd, our Branch Chair utilized his account to successfully order stationary items and valuable goodies provided by IEEE for our Student Branch. We were excited to receive these items on November 27th, and marked the occasion with a team photo. We were honored to be joined by our Head of the Computer Engineering Department, Dr. Subhash Rathod Sir, our Branch Counselor Dr. Monika Dangore Ma'am, and other supporting Faculty Members, highlighting the strong departmental support for our IEEE activities.
A momentous occasion for MMIT IEEE Student Branch as Principal Dr. Rupesh Bhortake Sir officially inaugurates the new MMIT IEEE Student Branch website. Designed and deployed by our Webmasters team, this platform marks a new chapter in our digital presence
The IEEE Student Branch conducted an orientation meeting to welcome new faces and reorient existing members. The session provided a comprehensive overview of IEEE's hierarchical structure, explaining how the student branch connects to the regional and global organization. Senior officers detailed key membership benefits, such as accessing research databases, utilize IEEE data ports for projects, and acquiring an official IEEE email alias. The leadership team then outlined a tentative roadmap for the upcoming semester, proposing varied activities including educational outreach trips, student-led technical workshops, and innovative social responsibility drives, urging members to actively contribute ideas and participate.
On November 18, 2025, the IEEE SB Executive Committee held a strategic meeting to map out upcoming activities and discuss operational pathways for the branch's future initiatives.
